FROM ACINIC CELL CARCINOMA TO YOLK SAC TUMOR
Backed by an expansive archive of histopath cases at the Surgical Pathology Section of the Philippine General Hospital, the Department of Pathology Digital Photomicrography Service of the UP College of Medicine offers digital images of microscopic slides in high resolution for conferences and publication.
Other services offered include gross pictures of surgical pathology specimens and rare and interesting clinicopathologic cases (CPC) for instruction. A CPC instruction set includes a clinical summary, autopsy or histopath report, and a Powerpoint presentation of the case.
DPS accepts photomicrography requests from other institutions and from their own archive. For more information, send an email to tetchiecm[at]yahoo[dot]com or call (02) 526-4550 and look for Ma’am Tetchie.
